Kalyan Sangha has also taken up training for kitchen farming and agriculture purpose in FY 2014-15. The vegetable plantation is giving very good return. The pupils of the School are getting their meal out of this plantation, which are purely organic & healthy.
At Kalyan Sangha, with the help of the Service Centre (Development Research and Communication Services Centre – DRCSC), local girls and women receive training forcattle rearing, seed preservation, vermi-composting etc. Resource people from Agricultural research institutes came to train local farmers about dry land rice farming.
