Under the umbrella of Kalyan Sangha, a medical unit have been introduced since FY2014-15, where well known doctors are visiting once in a month for regular health check-up of the school children as well as the local villagers. Medicines are also being given to the persons who do not have financial ability. The doctors provide free service along with the required medicines that they bring with them. About 200 children, 150 adult men and women are treated at the camps and around 25 people underwent ECG. Doctors came for 15-day long acupressure treatment for people suffering from back and kneepain.
This medical unit have also provided First Aid Training to 47 persons in the village, in collaboration with the St. John’s Ambulance, Bankura.
