Kalyan Sangha has undertaken the project of making plates using the Shal leaves available at the nearby forest areas. Currently, there are two machines installed at Kalyan Sangha, for making plates from the Shal leaves. The local women gather, prepare and supply the Shal leaves. There is a steady demand for such plates in the local area.
